Joining the Impact Reporting Network

The Impact Reporting Network is where nonprofits share their social impact results so funders can discover, compare, and support strong programs.

There are two ways your organization can become part of it:

Through Charity Navigator or Blackbaud

If your organization reports through Charity Navigator or Blackbaud, you're automatically part of the Impact Reporting Network — there's no separate sign-up. Your report is created and accessed through that partner platform, and once it's published, it becomes part of the network.

New to reporting this way? See Accessing Your Reports via Partner Platforms for where to log in and get started.

By opting in as a funder reporter

If a specific funder invited you to report in True Impact, you can also choose to share that report with the Impact Reporting Network. It's an option in your report's visibility settings — your report still goes to your funder, and you decide whether it's also visible to the wider network.

To turn this on, see Manage Report Visibility.

What it means to be in the network

Once your report is part of the network:

  • Your impact results are visible to funders searching for organizations doing work like yours.
  • You're sharing your full program impact — not just the slice tied to a single grant.
