How do I get the most out of my grantees' Social Impact Forecasts?

In all scenarios, True Impact supports grantees in updating their initial projections with interim and/or final data as their program progresses.

External application in alignment with True Impact’s system

  1. Nonprofits complete an application in an external data management system with an added step of completing a logic model separately. The logic model is aligned with True Impact’s models.
  2. Grant managers review applications, determine investment decisions, and assign partners to social impact pillars or portfolios.
  3. Grant managers invite grantees to complete a forecast with True Impact. True Impact provides a live training and one on one support as needed.
  4. Grant managers review individual forecasts as a means of tracking grantee progress toward agreed upon targets.

Social Impact Forecast as application

  1. Grantees are prescreened by funder through an LOI process and budget proposal. A subset is invited to complete a True Impact forecast as the final step in their application.
  2. True Impact provides a live training and one on one support. Grantees complete forecasts.
  3. Client reviews and/or rates forecasts. True Impact generates a high-level analysis of grantee forecasts and ratings to inform investment decisions.
  4. Client presents recommendations to the Board for final approval.

Cybergrants/True Impact integration

  1. Nonprofits complete a funding application in Cybergrants
  2. Client reviews applications and determines funding decisions.
  3. Approved grantees are automatically sent an invitation to complete a True Impact forecast.
  4. True Impact provides support through a recorded or live training. Grantee completes forecast.
