Programs Versus Reports

Learn how to manage annual reports within programs in True Impact.

Your Program is essentially the folder in which all of your Annual Reports are saved.

Creating a New Program

In True Impact, you will first create your "programs" which will serve as the folder for your annual reports. To do so...

  1. Navigate to the Reports page and click "Add New". 
  2. Select "New Program" from the dropdown menu.
  3. Enter a descriptive name for the program in the "Program Name" text box.
  4. Choose the Reporting Manager from the dropdown menu to serve as the program's main point of contact.
  5. Click "Create Program". 
  6. Your Program will only appear in the lefthand menu once your first annual report is created within in. 

Repeat these steps for all of your organization's core Programs.

Creating an Annual Report

Now that your programs are created, you can create your first annual report. 
  1. Click "Add New" and select "New Report".
    1. If this is your first report in the platform, choose "Create New Report" and click "Next".
    2. If you have existing reports you'd like to work off of, you can select "Clone Existing Report".
  2. Select the relevant program you want to create your report for as well as the report year you want to cover.
    1. If your report year spans more than one year (for example, the 2024-25 academic year), pick the year that the program starts in (so in this case 2024).
  3. Click "Create Report". You'll see a confirmation message that will prompt you to open the report to start working on it.
