I Can't Find or Access the Report Builder
If you are having trouble finding or accessing the report builder, here are the most common reasons and what to do.
You are looking in the wrong place.
The report builder is embedded directly in your partner platform and you do not need a separate True Impact account to access it. Log in to your partner platform (such as the Charity Navigator Nonprofit Portal) and navigate to the relevant section from there. Please contact the partner platform for additional guidance.
You do not yet meet the eligibility requirements.
Some partner platforms only make the report builder available to organizations that meet certain criteria. For Charity Navigator, this typically requires three years of consecutive Form 990 filings. If the Impact section is not visible in your portal, you may not yet be eligible. Contact your partner platform directly to confirm.
You do not have portal access.
If you are trying to access Charity Navigator's portal for the first time, visit charitynavigator.org/portal/login to request access. For other partner platforms, check with your partner platform for instructions.
You started a report but cannot find it.
If you previously started a report and cannot locate it, return to the Impact Reporting section of your partner platform and your in-progress report should appear there. If you are still unable to find it, contact us at impactreportsupport@trueimpact.com with your organization name and email address.
